Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport recorded remarkable growth in the first half of 2025, welcoming 25.5 million passengers—an increase of 6.8% compared to the same period last year. The airport also saw a 6.3% rise in flight movements, totaling over 150,000, while baggage volume surged by 11.9%, reaching nearly 29.4 million pieces.

On April 5 alone, the airport handled 178,000 passengers—the highest daily traffic during this period—demonstrating its expanding operational capacity. Additionally, 4.8 million bottles of Zamzam water were distributed, highlighting the airport’s continued support for religious travelers. These milestones reflect the airport’s growing role as a major gateway and its alignment with Saudi Arabia’s broader aviation goals.
