In 2018, he joined Genetec Canada as a Global Subject Matter Expert in Aviation after working with Abu Dhabi Airports Company for 20 years. In this role, he collaborates with various airport end users and consultants to manage airport resources, operations, safety, and security. I’m an aviation professional with over a decade of experience, starting as an aircraft mechanic, where I spent more than 8 years working in both base and line maintenance. My passion for aviation led me to transition into the CAMO part of the technical division, where I became an Airworthiness Duty Manager. In this role, I’ve been responsible for overseeing certificate of airworthiness reviews and ARC renewals and managing the complex processes involved in aircraft deliveries, re-deliveries, and fleet phase-outs.
My focus has shifted towards digital transformation while undertaking a Master’s degree in financial technology and working on several projects aimed at automating manual processes within the engineering department. Capt. Nevin Mahmoud Darwish
Captain Nevin Darwish is a highly accomplished senior airline captain with over three decades of experience in commercial aviation. She started her career in 1989 as a cadet pilot after working as a flight attendant. In 1993, she joined Egyptair and flew various Boeing types (B737, B767, B777) as a First Officer. In 2003, she was promoted to Captain and had her first command on the B737, followed by the A320 a couple of years later.
In 2007, she joined Emirates Airlines and flew as a Captain on A330 and A340. In 2015, while working for Emirates airlines, she became the first female pilot outside the EU to captain the largest jet in the world the A380.

Dr Heba Khoshaim is Vice-President of the women’s campus and associate professor in the College of Humanities and Sciences at Prince Sultan University (PSU). She has a BSc in mathematics. She completed her MSc in mathematics from the University of Ottawa, and a PhD in mathematics education from Ohio University. Hazar Hafiz
Hazar Hafiz is a strategic marketer with over 18 years’ experience working in various marketing roles across different industries.
She joined Saudi low-cost airline flyadeal in March 2022 as Senior Marketing Manager after building her marketing credentials in the Kingdom’s healthcare, real estate and retail sectors.
Her 10-year spell in the FMCG segment with GoodyCo, a Saudi-based multinational food company, saw her work across many marketing disciplines including brand, digital and website development.
At flyadeal, she has been responsible for some of the airline’s most impactful initiatives. These include product marketing campaigns; developing, implementing and introducing flyadeal’s highly successful multi-bundle fares programme; and spearheading the promotion of flyadeal’s historic partnership with AlFursan, the rewards programme of sister airline Saudia.

Iyad Hindiyeh is the Chief Digital Transformation Officer at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). He was appointed to the role in June 2023, leading SFO’s technology platforms and digital innovation.

Jeanne Olivier, A.A.E., IACE
Jeanne Olivier is the Principal of JM Olivier, LLC providing airport management and security consulting services. She retired from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 2021 where she served as the Assistant Director of the Security Operations and Programs Department. She worked with the Port Authority for over 36 years in airport operational management positions at John F. Kennedy International, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty International, and Teterboro airports as well as the aviation central office in Manhattan. She managed the central Aviation Security Program since the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 including oversight of Security and Technology for the Authority's five airports.
Ms. Olivier was responsible for policies and programs to strengthen the security of the Port Authority’s commercial airports, and general aviation facilities, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Her office oversaw a nearly half billion-dollar multi-year capital program for physical and technological security enhancements at these facilities, and numerous technology pilot projects conducted in partnership with and funded by the federal government. She and her office worked closely with federal and state oversight agencies including the Transportation Security Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Customs, Dept. of Energy, Dept. of Justice, and various state agencies on policy and funding matters for aviation security and technology.
Ms. Olivier has served on several industry and federal committees on aviation security matters. She is an Accredited Airport Executive, a Past Chair of AAAE and continues to serve on the Board of the International Association of Airport Executives. She has been a Director of the Board of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), a Past President of its Northeast Chapter, former Chair of the AAAE Transportation Security Services Committee, and a former elected member of Airports Council International’s Public Safety and Security Steering Group. She previously chaired AAAE’s Academic Relations Committee, the AAAE Biometric Airport Security Identification Consortium, and the 2013 National Airports Conference. She has been a regular contributor for several years to RTCA’s publication series, “Standards for Airport Security Access Control Systems.” Ms. Olivier holds a BA and MA from Florida State University and an MBA from Columbia University.
She returned to the U.S. in 2007 following a year with the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq where she assisted the U.S. Department of State in the rebuilding of the Iraq Civil Aviation System. For this work, she received the U.S. Department of State’s Meritorious Honor Award in 2007 from Ambassador to Iraq, Zalmay Khalilzad, and another in 2008 from Ambassador Ryan C. Crocker.
In 2013, Jeanne was awarded the American Association of Airport Executives Chair’s Award for “outstanding contribution to the airport management profession and to the American Association of Airport Executives.”

Jihad Boueri
Jihad Boueri is the SITA Vice President Transformation for the Middle East & Africa Region.
Jihad has a wealth of experience in Project Management, Solution Architecture, Master Systems Integration, Bid Management, and Business Management across most airports in the Middle East, India, and Africa. Kevin Bumen is the current Chief Financial and Commercial Officer at San Francisco International Airport. Kevin has over 21 years of experience in airport management and has been with the San Francisco International Airport for just over three years. Prior to his current position, Kevin was the Director of Airports with the County of San Luis Obispo from November 2013 to October 2020. In that role, he was responsible for the results-oriented management of aviation facilities, FBOs, services, planning, community affairs programs, information technology, and environmental compliance. Kevin has also held the position of Director of Aviation and Business Services with the Truckee Tahoe Airport District from March 2003 to November 2013, where he oversaw similar responsibilities. Maryam Telmesani holds an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School and is a dedicated sustainability expert who has pioneered multi-sectoral sustainable strategies, practices, and methodologies across different industries including; aviation, construction, and fashion. She plays a key role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of environmental stewardship and economic diversification, both nationally and internationally. A passionate advocate for global collaboration, she launched and chaired the Saudi Network of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). Throughout her career, she has held prominent roles as Chief Sustainability Officer for several companies and served as a trusted advisor in the field. She is currently the Vice President of Sustainability at SAUDIA Group and an Expert in Residence for the Hult Prize.
In addition to her corporate role, Maryam plays an active part in shaping sustainability governance across the region. She serves as Chair of the Sustainability Policy Group at the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO), a Committee Member of the Civil Aviation Environmental Sustainability Program (CAESP) with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), a member of the SkyTeam Sustainability Advisory Group, and a Technical Committee Member of the Oil Sustainability Program. She also holds the role of Vice Chair of the National Committee for Sustainability and Green Economy at the Federation of Saudi Chambers.
Maryam has participated in over 70 global sustainability events and conferences, with her thought leadership earning widespread recognition. Most recently, she was recognized as one of the 2025 Powerlist Executives in Aviation by Aviation Business for leading Saudia’s transformation toward sustainable aviation and embedding ESG principles in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. She was previously named one of the Top Inspirational Leaders of 2024, Women Icon of the Year 2023, one of the Top 100 Influential CSR Leaders in 2023, and a Power 50 ESG Leader in 2022.

Author of the concept on airport management topic named "Professional Essentials" which aims to assist new and current managers in the aviation industry with reaching of professional management level.
The concept consists of three books. First book “Airport. Manager’s path. Professional approach basics” was published in May 2024 and explains the author’s view on how to set up a working management system for airport processes. How to implement chosen airport development strategy using performance and crisis management tools with consequent building of systematic approach to management. Rawan Aljehani is a data scientist and business intelligence analyst with experience in statistical analysis, market research and reporting.
She joined flyadeal in 2018 as a revenue management analyst with responsibility for flight and revenue optimisation. Since then, she gradually elevated into managerial roles focusing on
business intelligence applications to support the airline’s commercial performance and overall strategic decision making.
In March 2024, Rawan was promoted to Head of the Digital, Data and Business Intelligence department spearheading the company’s digital transformation mandate.
Data to forecast demand, interpret and evaluate route performance, and analyse competitor activity are among the key responsibilities for Rawan and her growing team.
She started her career with a consultancy contracted to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Economy to work on statistical data insights, analysis and market studies.
Rawan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from King Abdulaziz University, a research institute in Jeddah, as well as a Masters in Applied Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.

Ronald F. Mathieu is chief executive officer of the Birmingham Airport Authority, overseeing the operations of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport in Birmingham, Alabama. Mathieu is responsible for the overall administration, operations, maintenance, development, and continued growth of the airport.
Mathieu previously served as executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. During his tenure, he strengthened the airport’s financial position while launching the organization’s largest construction program. The first phase, a $67 million initiative, included a new baggage handling system, security enhancements, the redevelopment of airline and administrative offices and enlargement of the security checkpoint and ticket lobby.
Mathieu has held leadership positions at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and Newark International, LaGuardia and JFK International Airports – operated by the New York Port Authority.
Mathieu earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives, where he serves on the Policy Review Committee, and is a past chairman of the Diversity Committee. Mathieu, a private pilot, is also a board member of the International Association of Airport Executives.

Sohail is an experienced aviation professional with over 20 years experience across major airlines as well as airport development in the Kingdom. Solomon Wong
Solomon Wong is the President & Chief Executive Officer of InterVISTAS Consulting Group.
He is a multidisciplinary expert in transportation policies, infrastructure planning, and innovation. Wong has more than 20 years of experience working with both public and private clients to improve processes for people and goods, helping airports, airlines, and governments optimize operations.

Steven Derengowski CM, IACE
Steven brings over 12 years of combined experience in airport operations and facility planning, with a significant portion of his career dedicated to advancing the integration of AAM. He has worked with airports across North America to explore how AAM can seamlessly be integrated into the existing aviation ecosystem, while helping key stakeholders recognize the value it brings not only to airports but also to the broader community. His experience includes working with both airports and OEMs to evaluate infrastructure and airspace requirements to support efficient AAM operations, ranging from airport-to-airport connectivity to non-airport destinations. More recently, Steven has led projects assessing the market potential of AAM, specifically for eVTOL applications, analyzing how this technology could complement the existing transportation landscape from both a cost and time perspective. Finally, Steven has authored a white paper highlighting the key considerations that airports must evaluate when determining how and where AAM can be successfully introduced.

Usman Tahir
Usman is a Principal at Roland Berger’s Middle East office based in Dubai, leading the Aviation practice for Roland Berger Middle East. He has nearly 20 years of management consulting and industry experience in the Middle East and South Asia.
He has spent most of his career working within the Aviation Industry on topics of strategic importance across the commercial and operational value chain. Yara Toimah
With over half a decade of experience in Private Aviation and a solid background in Aerospace Engineering, Yara focuses in crafting targeted solutions, building strong client relationships, and driving growth through international market expansion and strategic initiatives. Currently pursuing a PhD at Purdue University in Aviation Management & Technology, with research focused on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs), eVTOLs, and Land Over - End-Around Taxiing (Lo-EATS). Her experience spans sustainable leadership in private aviation and driving business growth through operational excellence.
Today, her purpose is centered on advancing sustainable aviation, leading initiatives that support SAF adoption, responsible business practices, and innovative propulsion solutions within the aviation sector. Yara also contributes pro bono to the DEEP SPACE INITIATIVE, a non-profit founded by Sara Sabry, the first Arab and African woman to reach space, where she supports advancing access and research in space exploration.
