In the first quarter of 2025, Saudi Arabia’s Cluster 2 Airports Company reported strong operational performance, handling a total of 38,700 flights across its network. This includes 30,700 domestic and 8,000 international flights, highlighting the growing demand for air travel across the Kingdom. The company, which manages five key airports—Abha, Jizan, Najran, Al Baha, and Sharurah—also recorded a total of 4.1 million passengers during the same period, supported by 3.3 million pieces of luggage processed.

These results reflect the company’s growing role in advancing the goals of Saudi Arabia’s national aviation strategy, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global hub connecting three continents. Cluster 2’s performance also underscores its contribution to supporting tourism and economic development in the southern regions of Saudi Arabia. The strong numbers achieved in Q1 2025 reinforce the resilience and readiness of the aviation sector to meet rising passenger expectations and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 transformation.
