Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector is achieving record milestones as part of Vision 2030. Between January and September, airports handled 103.1 million passengers, 713,000 flight movements, and 866,000 tonnes of air cargo, supported by Saudia Cargo’s expanding global network.

Connectivity now spans over 170 destinations, reinforcing the Kingdom’s ambition to become a leading global logistics hub. The figures were highlighted at the 18th Aviation Programme Steering Committee, alongside progress in charter, private, and logistics operations.

Saudi Arabia’s re-election to the ICAO Council for 2026–2028 reflects global confidence in its aviation leadership, safety, and commitment to sustainable air transport.
