Prince Badr bin Farhan, Minister of Culture and Governor of the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), inaugurated the expansion of lounges and terminal facilities at AlUla International Airport, attended by GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej and RCU CEO Abeer Al-Aql. The expansion reflects RCU’s commitment to strengthening critical infrastructure and positioning AlUla as a growing aviation and logistics hub.
The project increases terminal capacity by 44%, raising annual passenger capacity from 400,000 to 700,000, and introduces smart technologies to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, the expansion supports tourism growth, investment attraction, and expanded international connectivity.
