Madinah Region Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz has inaugurated the new ALTANFEETHI lounge at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport. Designed to enhance the passenger experience, the lounge features state-of-the-art check-in platforms, dedicated facilities for individuals with disabilities, and eco-friendly elements such as natural plant displays inspired by Madinah’s aesthetic.
Spanning 1,200 square meters, the lounge significantly boosts operational capacity, accommodating over 240,000 passengers annually—a 95% increase. The inauguration ceremony was attended by General Authority of Civil Aviation President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, ALTANFEETHI Company Board Chairman Eng. Mohammed Alkhuraisi, and key civil and military officials.
