Hamdi Osman is the CEO and Founder of SolitAir, an ambitious scheduled express cargo airline revolutionizing regional air cargo operations across Africa, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent, and the CIS countries. SolitAir is committed to delivering efficiency, reliability, and superior customer service while advancing trade across emerging markets.
Before founding SolitAir, Hamdi spent 34 years at FedEx, playing a pivotal role in the company’s expansion throughout the EMEIA region and driving operational excellence in complex markets. Following his retirement, he transitioned into strategic investments across logistics, education, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. He was recognized as Investor of the Year at the 2019 Arabian Business StartUp Awards for his impactful support of emerging businesses.
Beyond his business ventures, Hamdi is deeply committed to philanthropy and global development. He is a two-time President and active member of Rotary International, a former President of the American Business Council (1998–1999), and has served on the Presidential Advisory Board for The President Clinton Initiative in Africa since 2006. His work focuses on economic growth and policy development across the continent.
