Dr. Bader Al Aydi

Dr. Bader Ibrahim Alaydi is a visionary aviation leader with more than 30 years of senior management and governance experience spanning civil aviation, higher education, and national transformation initiatives. He currently serves as Chair of the Aviation Department at Prince Sultan University, where he leads academic–industry integration, program innovation, and research aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Before joining academia, Dr. Alaydi held key executive positions at the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS), where he directed corporate transformation, business development, and air navigation modernization programs. His leadership contributed to significant revenue growth, international representation at ICAO, and the institutionalization of KPI-driven performance frameworks.

Dr. Alaydi holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University Putra Malaysia, an MBA and BSc in Marketing (Honors) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and a Diploma in Air Traffic Control from the Saudi Aviation Academy. He is also a Harvard-trained executive in corporate performance, certified in the Balanced Scorecard and Lean Six Sigma.

His current focus includes aviation strategy, sustainability, human capital development, and digital transformation across airports, airlines, and air navigation service providers.
