Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector continues to soar, with 103.1 million passengers and 713,000 flight movements handled between January and September this year, expanding connectivity to over 170 destinations. GACA highlighted strong growth in air cargo, strategic partnerships, and progress in charter and private aviation, including VistaJet’s domestic authorization.
The Kingdom was re-elected to the ICAO Council for 2026–2028, reflecting global confidence in its leadership and sustainable aviation initiatives. Meanwhile, Special Economic Zones like the Riyadh Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ) continue to attract major tenants, strengthening Saudi Arabia’s role in global air connectivity and economic growth.
