Abha International Airport achieved a record-breaking milestone on July 5, handling 132 flights in a single day—the highest daily total in its history. The operations included 117 domestic and 15 international flights, reflecting growing passenger demand, strong operational efficiency during the peak summer season, and the region’s increasing appeal as a tourism and events destination. The achievement also supports Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy by enhancing airport capacity and improving service quality.
