The industry supports around 1.4 million jobs, with 141,100 positions directly within the aviation sector, generating $14.3 billion in economic output.
Tourism facilitated by air travel plays a substantial role, contributing $52.9 billion to the economy and supporting 1.1 million jobs. The sector’s growth aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, emphasizing the development of a skilled workforce and infrastructure expansion to establish the Kingdom as a global aviation hub.
Investments in airport infrastructure, digital technologies, and training programs are underway to enhance operational efficiency and passenger services. Initiatives include partnerships with educational institutions and industry stakeholders to equip young Saudis with necessary skills for aviation careers.
