King Khalid International Airport has launched the first phase of its ‘Silent Airport’ project at Terminal 5, aiming to create a quieter and more comfortable passenger experience.
The initiative will reduce general public announcements, limiting them mainly to departure gates, while shifting flight information to digital screens, WhatsApp, the airport website, signage and the “Ask Me” team.
The project will be introduced gradually, with further phases to be announced.
