Iyad Hindiyeh

Iyad Hindiyeh is the Chief Digital Transformation Officer at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). He was appointed to the role in June 2023, leading SFO’s technology platforms and digital innovation.

Mr. Hindiyeh brings over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, including leadership roles as CEO, COO, and SVP of Strategy at global aviation organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic State University.

At SFO, he is spearheading a multi-year Technology Improvement Programme (TIP) focused on building a unified tech roadmap, improving operational efficiency, and future-proofing the airport’s IT infrastructure.

Mr. Hindiyeh has worked across airports, airlines, and regulatory bodies, developing strategy, operations, and innovative technology solutions for the aviation sector worldwide.
