Andrew Tyler-Smith is the Chief Executive Officer at Red Sea International Airport (RSI), the primary gateway to the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations.
A passionate and empathetic leader, Andrew is honoured to lead the RSI team, committed to providing the qualities of a five-star hospitality experience and a seamless and sustainable airport journey for all
guests, serving the tourism megaproject development in Red Sea. RSI will be 100% powered by renewable energy through the on-site solar facility. With the development of Airlines such as Qatar, Saudia and Flydubai the Red sea destination is now connected globally.
Prior to mobilising RSI Andrew was responsible for International development for MAG Airports including Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands Airports across 65m Passengers.
Andrew is recognised as a strong, approachable leader and has a passion for developing high performing and empowered teams. This passion, alongside his drive for providing his teams a safe environment to flourish, was recognised through making finalist of the highly coveted Times 100 Best Places to Work.
Andrew has a wealth of experience in the aviation sector, having worked in various capacities that have shaped his leadership style and vision. Under his guidance, RSI have seen significant improvements in customer satisfaction, mobilisation of Domestic and International and operational efficiency.
