The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is investing $182.6 billion in airport infrastructure, making it one of the world’s largest aviation development programs. Led by Saudi Arabia (42.5%) and the UAE (26.8%), the region is expanding airports, building new terminals, and increasing capacity to strengthen its position as a global aviation hub. Major projects include King Salman International Airport in Riyadh, Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, and airport expansions across Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE, all supporting long-term economic growth, tourism, and rising passenger demand.
