Workshop Overview

The aviation industry across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC is entering a new phase of operational complexity, driven by rapid airport expansion, increasing passenger demand, major hub development, capacity constraints, sustainability commitments and the need for stronger coordination between airports, ANSPs, airlines, regulators and other aviation stakeholders.

Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) has played an important role in improving operational predictability, turnaround visibility, departure sequencing and tactical coordination. However, the scale of aviation transformation currently taking place across Saudi Arabia and the GCC requires a broader, more integrated and more predictive operating model.

Total Airport Management (TAM) represents the natural next evolution: a connected airport ecosystem in which operational, tactical and strategic decisions are supported through integrated governance, real-time data visibility, predictive operations, Airport Operations Centres (APOC) and stronger stakeholder alignment.

Hosted by ITAĂ©rea in collaboration with Global Airports Forum, this executive workshop will provide aviation professionals and decision-makers with a practical understanding of the transition from A-CDM to TAM, combining regional operational realities, international best practices and strategic discussion on how to build the Airport of the Future in Saudi Arabia and across the GCC.
