Aksam Aboasali

Aksam Aboasali is an engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the airline and airport industries, specializing in communications, special airport systems, security systems, Aeronautical Systems, management, design, and operations. In 2018, he joined Genetec Canada as a Global Subject Matter Expert in Aviation after working with Abu Dhabi Airports Company for 20 years. In this role, he collaborates with various airport end users and consultants to manage airport resources, operations, safety, and security. He also works closely with international aviation authorities and airport system suppliers and integrators. In addition to his work at Genetec, Aboasali is a member of the World Facilitation & Services Standing Committee (WFSSC) at Airports Council International (ACI - World). This committee advocates on behalf of ACI members to ensure that policies and regulations support the improvement of terminal flows and address the impact of passenger growth on airport facilities.
