Yara Jan

Yara Jan is one of the first female pilots in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the youngest to achieve this milestone. Breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field, she has become a trailblazer for women in aviation across the region. Her dedication, passion for flight, and commitment to empowering others have not only earned her recognition but also  inspired a new generation of young women to pursue careers in aviation. As a pioneer, she is focused on continuing to challenge norms and advocate for greater representation of women in the skies.

Yara joined flyadeal, one of the fastest growing airlines in the Middle East, through a cadet pilot training program in 2021 after spending some time in private aviation. She was fascinated by aviation since childhood and her passion was fueled by seeing her father  work in the industry as an aircraft engineer, and networking with airline professionals.
