Hanan Badri

Hanan Badri was appointed Chief People Officer of Saudi Arabian low-cost airline flyadeal in June 2020, becoming the first female to hold a C-level position in the country’s aviation sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Central Missouri (UCM).

Hanan’s extensive career spans both local and multinational companies, including Saudi National Bank, SAED, AVON, IKEA, Virgin Megastore and medical health insurance provider Bupa. Throughout her career, she has held key roles such as HR Director for Organisational Development and HR Business Partner before stepping into her current position.

At flyadeal, one of the fastest growing low-cost airlines in the Middle East, Hanan oversees all HR functions, including talent management and organisational development to performance management, ensuring alignment with business objectives. She also manages HR policies, procedures, and the administrative aspects of the people function, while fostering a culture of continuous development within the organisation.
